The ethanol plant is not a matter of the need for better solutions for America's dependence on oil. Nor are the Alexandria residents against the growth of the city. We are however against putting a refinery next door to neighbors. I challenge everyone who says that this plant does not create detrimental pollutants to the environment to KnowTheFacts before stating misconception is all we are capable of achieving through our study of the Air Quality Permit request available to the public at the Alexandria Public Library. EthanolRailroad.com is full of facts and links that allow uninformed residents to determine for themselves whether they want the plant.

I ask each of you to decide which you treasure most: money or life.

Since 1850, my family has been in Alexandria. We would like to plan on many more generations to enjoy the peaceful country life. But as a result of the location of the plant, Alexandria may end up losing residents with children due to the probable health concerns related to the many Volatile Organic Compounds, Heavy Metals, and other pollutant factors associated with the plant.

If you have information for EthanolRailroad.com that is not there please send it so everyone can learn.
